Wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy New Years ‘09!

A big thank you to everyone who mentioned Rose’s upcoming appearance on David Letterman. I hadn’t posted an update about it yet, but credit for the information goes to Fragile. Rose will be on the Letterman show Wednesday night after Damages. If anyone is able to get a copy of her appearance on Letterman, that would be a great help!

A warning, if you’re squeamish about blood or dead bodies, I would suggest not looking at the caps. I couldn’t find what the rating of the movie is. Sorry about the adds, re-adds, and deletion of screencaps. I didn’t want to offend anyone with content, but decided to just put a warning on the folder containing the caps.

Additionally, you will see in the previous post about site updates that I’m polling on forum usage. The reason for this is because I wanted to see if we should bother having a forum since it’s not used that much. Please let me know in the previous update post if you are interested in still having the forum or not. Thanks!

Spring New Years Cleaning
I’ve just cleaned out the coppermine user list. If a user was inactive or hadn’t visited the site since 2004-2007, they have been deleted from the userlist and will have to re-register. Currently, registration for the gallery is closed. I will re-open registration after implementing some anti-spam features. We had an excess of 10,000 members (mainly spam accounts) and now it’s down to 4177. The gallery is once more open for new user registrations.

What I really need is someone who can code the video archive or make an awesome layout, as I really don’t have the resources (I’m hoping to get a new computer for Christmas *fingers crossed*). Email me if you’re interested or have really nice friends that can code/create a media archive layout

Thanks to Alex, we have an excerpt of a new interview with Glenn Close which mentions Rose.

Close: I love Rosie. We just have a great time together and where her character goes this season is so wonderful. The fact that she’s in black all the time, you know, she’s a different creature. But you understand it. When you think of the first time you saw her, that wet behind the ears, just out of law school , basically innocent girl, and when you see her at the beginning of Season 2, it’s really phenomenal. She’s a beautiful person, she’s funny, irreverent smart girl. It’s fun to work with her.
