“This woman came up to me in a coffee shop once,” she recalled, “and said, ‘I love you in “Damages,” you’re fantastic.’ And I said, ‘Oh, thank you.’ She said, ‘Oh my gawd, you’re British.’ And I said, ‘No, I’m Australian.’ And she’s like, ‘Oh my gawd, I can’t believe it.’”

You’d be amazed at how many people mistaken the Aussie accent as being British :lol: I guess if you’re not exposed to the dialects its difficult to decipher.
