Also, I haven’t put it up here yet (because I’m still working on converting the entire site into WordPress), but I have information of Rose’s Damages style which is up currently at Instinctive! “Ellen is much smarter than I am; more tactful. I’m a very anxious person, timid and not very forthright. I’m very shy. I don’t have that many qualities like her. So we’re quite different in many ways and that’s why I like playing her. It has given me more confidence. And filming in New York, you have to have a certain directness about you to navigate through the city, which is something that I’ve taken from Damages.”

With big thanks to Britt, I’ve updated two new photoshoots of Rose. Unfortunately, one of them is tagged, but it’s the best quality that’s available right now!

Rose is currently filming (until June) the movie Get Him to the Greek. The film also stars Jonah Hill, Russell Brand, Elisabeth Moss, and Sean Combs (yes, Puff Daddy).

The script, which Stoller wrote, follows a fresh-out-of-college record-company intern (Hill) hired to get an out-of-control rock star (Brand) from London to a gig at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, becoming introduced to an out-of-control life of hookers and blow along the way. Moss, the female lead, is playing Hill’s repressed girlfriend, a doctor. Combs will play Hill’s boss, while Byrne is Brand’s ex-girlfriend, a Courtney Love-type rocker. Moss, one of the stars of “Mad Men,” is currently shooting “Did You Hear About the Morgans?” Columbia’s comedy starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant. She is repped by Endeavor and Ribisi Entertainment. Combs, repped by WMA and the Safran Co., is coming off a two-episode stint of “CSI: Miami” CAA-repped Byrne, who stars in FX’s “Damages,” can be seen opposite Nicolas Cage in “Knowing.”

Sharp Magazine – April/May Edition

On Damages she’s made the most of her screen real estate, easily sharing it with powerhouses like Glenn Close and William Hurt. At times, her naturalness has almost made their seasoned acting seem too present, verging on the hackneyed. It’s a testament to just how talented she is. In the show’s two seasons, she has taken Ellen Parsons from doe-eyed pawn/protégé to avenging crusader without failing to make every step of that transition achingly believable.

“I don’t have a secret past and I’m not harbouring an inner darkness,” she adds with a bit of chuckle. “The worst thing I suffer from— though admittedly it can be quite bad at times— is home sickness.” Full article
