Not sure if there is any truth to the rumors but their is a lot of stuff going around online about Rose possibly playing the lead female role in The Green Lantern. Martin Campbell is directing and the film will be filmed in Australia….

It has been learned by TMT (http://thinkmcflythink.squarespace.com/movie-news/2009/5/1/tmt-exclusive-rose-byrne-up-for-carol-ferris.html) that the extremely talented and beautiful Australian actress Rose Byrne is up for the leading female role in Green Lantern, Carol Ferris. Not only is Byrne up for the role, but from what we’re hearing she is director Martin Campbell’s first choice. In addition to the very likely possibility of Byrne, Doug Jones is likely to sign on for an unspecified role according to the source.

As far as I know, the script isn’t even in its final draft stage let alone any casting started, but if I get any solid conformation on Rose being cast, I will definitely post it up. :wink:

It has been confirmed with the Hollywood Reporter that Rose Byrne and Hugh Dancy will be attending the EIFF in Scotland. The movie Adam premieres on June 27th according to the festival schedule.
