The steps of the large building where Rose is walking up and through is called Federal Hall National Memorial. The historical building located at 26 Wall St is famous for a couple of things: 1) This is where George Washington was inaugurated as our first President. (Hence the statue on her right.) 2) This was also the first Capitol of the United States and where the Bill of Rights was passed.
