Happy Birthday, Rose!

Today, July 24th, 2010; our beloved Rose Byrne turns 31! I wish you all the best, Rose! I hoped to mark the occasion with a new look for the site, but things are taking longer than I anticipated. In the mean time, I was able to make some vector art of the birthday girl. (It’s a little rough, but I hope you enjoy it.) You can view it in the gallery.

Sharp Woman: Rose Byrne

Canadian magazine ‘Sharp’ has posted a fun interview with Rose on their site. Here’s a sample:

Did you ever date a next door neighbour?
“Hmm, a cute neighbour…I’m trying to think about it. God, I wish I had more of a technique for that! Um, I’m trying to think if I ever had a hot neighbour. I’m usually shy. ‘Damages’ LIVES!!!

I am absolutely ELATED to fill you in on the great news- ‘Damages’ has been renewed by DirecTV for TWO MORE SEASONS! The show will air again next summer, exclusively on DirecTV. Each season will only be 10 episodes long, but after months of reading speculations about the show’s fate, that’s FAR beyond what I expected!

Variety – ‘Damages’ finds home on DirecTV
BuddyTV – ‘Damages’ Renewed for 2 More Seasons, But Not on FX
The Hollywood Reporter – DirecTV rescues ‘Damages’

I am so grateful that DirecTV has decided to rescue the show. Stay tuned for more details about this fantastic revelation.

Gallery Update

With special thanks to Cariel, I’ve added some MQ scans from Vogue Australia to the gallery. I’m currently trying to get my hands on the issue, and when I do, I’ll add HQ scans shortly after.

I’ve also added a small image of Rose with Russell Brand from back in early June when they appeared on the Today Show together.
