Breakthrough Of The Year Awards Coverage |

New Event and ‘Damages’ interview |

On Monday, Rose attended the 2010 Breakthrough Of The Year Awards in Los Angeles. There are a TON of photos from the event, and when I get a little more time I’ll add all of them, but for now, I added a small sample batch to the gallery.

Next up for Rose- ‘X-Men: First Class’ |

I didn’t believe the news when I first read it, but it appears that Rose will be joining the cast of ‘X-Men: First Class’!! She is set to play Dr. Moira MacTaggert, a genetic mutation scientist, and the love interest of a young Professor Xavier (James McAvoy). For more information about her character, and other confirmed cast members, click here. Filming is set to start at the end of this month, and the film is scheduled to be released June 3, 2011. What excited news! Congratulations, Rose! |

‘Bridesmaids’ production still, and other film news! |

After a shorter than expected vacation, I’m back with lots of film news. The first production still for Rose’s 2011 film ‘Bridesmaids’ has been added to the gallery! 
Also, the James Wan horror-thriller ‘Insidious’ (starring Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson) will make its debut at the Toronto Film Festival in September. (source) Lastly, lots of rumours have been floating around that Rose is on the short list of actresses in the running to play opposite Casey Affleck in the upcoming romantic comedy ‘The F Word’. I’ve seen several reports about the rumour, but this one seems the most valid- (source) (Special thanks to Roberta for the links!) |
