The ever-aiding Roberta has given me some very excellent information:
inmovies will be streaming the press conference for ‘Insidious’ at the Toronto Film Festival; live! It will take place on September 14th, but we won’t know the actual starting time of the conference until that date. (I’m definitely going to make an effort to gather as much media from the conference as I can, but if anyone is able to help, I would be truly grateful!)
I may be at work that day, so I might miss out on the live coverage, but recaps and highlights will also be provided by inmovies, so if I do miss it, I’ll at least have that for you.

The film will premiere today, but there is no word on when the press conference will be. I’ll keep you posted when the press conference is actually announced. Sorry for the mix-up!

Well for some good news and a little bad news.
The little bad news is Rose didn’t attend the Toronto Film Festival. I came across some red carpet pictures of the cast (getty/wireimage) and last night’s Q&A (twitter) after the premiere of ‘Insidious. I would imagine her film schedule with X-Men was the main issue.

The good news is that Sony Pictures has purchased the film for US distribution apparently after the screening last night Sony came forward to offer a deal, which is amazing considering the purchase environment and reports that TIFF film negotiations have been pretty slow the past few days. This is very exciting news……

Keep in mind this indie film was made with less than a million dollars. Pretty cool and with the creators of Saw and Paranormal Activity backing it up. No wonder it sold so fast. :)
