New Events & A New Haircut

On February 8th, Rose attended the B by Brian Atwood party at The Lion in New York, and she unveiled her new haircut- bangs!

Today, she attended the amfAR New York Gala To Kick Off Fall 2011 Fashion Week. I have added 17 photos from the event to the gallery:

How do you like the new look? I’m not a fan of bangs, so I didn’t really know how to feel about the new ‘do. But now, I think her haircut is already starting to grow on me…

OMG, she’s just amazing with this new haircut, i can’t wait to see more!
Some rumors state she may be dating Stephen Merchant but i think you chose not to talk about her private life i think so that’s maybe because you didn’t talk about that?

Oh no. What has she done? Why would a woman with unbelievably gorgeous eyes wear an ugly, trendy, “fashion victim” hairstyle that covers them up? Is this how Ellen Parsons is going to look in season four? ;-(

(@ Clarisse) Yeah, I chose not to update about the rumours, and I prefer to always leave out anything about her personal life.

(@ ML) I agree about her eyes; and most of what you said about the bangs. But I think that they’re so long, that there are a lot of things that she can do with them. They may have her wear a wig on ‘Damages’ if they’re not happy with her new look, but I doubt they will. I’m looking forward to another event to see how creative she gets with the bangs.

I like bangs, and I think the haircut looks good on her. I also like that she’s gotten rid of the blonder highlights; she looks best with darker hair. But, I kind of hope they make her wear a wig for “Damages.” I think this look is a little too trendy for Ellen!

Rose is beautiful and she could get away with just about anything, but not being able to see the eyes of an actress is awful. You’re right, though, Dann … they might pull the bangs back a bit for “Damages.” She has to get permission from KZK to change her hair, so the production team obviously wanted the new look.

I can’t believe I care so much about a stranger’s hairstyle. How lame.

P.S. If you scroll down that same page to a woman named Tinsley Mortimer, you’ll see a version (I think) of Rose’s style parted to the side. That would look totally cute on Ellen.

(@ ML) Thanks for the different photo! (I think you’re right about Tinsley Mortimer’s hair being similar to Rose’s. It would be great for Ellen to wear it like that.)

p.s.- I’m obsessed with a lot of stranger’s hairstyles, so at least I don’t think you’re lame. :^)
