A heads up to everyone in the U.S.:
Rose is going to be a guest on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ on Tuesday, June 4th (OR on Wednesday, June 5th! There seems to be some confusion out about the date, so be sure to set your DVR’s for both episodes.) She will also be appearing on ‘Live with Kelly & Michael’ tomorrow morning (June 4th; sorry for the late notice!!) Check your local listings for channel and air time! (If anyone out there is able to send the video of the interviews to the site to share with fans outside the country, it would be greatly appreciated!)
Rose is currently featured in the May issue of ‘Manhattan’ Magazine! An excellent interview and photoshoot accompany the article:
Although she boasts plenty of confidence in the visual offerings, the actress confesses to being extremely introverted as a youngster.
‘I was very, very shy when I was little,’ she admits. ‘Acting lets you access all those different parts of yourself to make the character authentic.’
Rose is the youngest of four children born to Robin, a now-retired market researcher, and his wife, Jane, who works in the office of an Aboriginal primary school.
Although she loves hailing from Down Under, she says she is very attached to the Big Apple.
‘Australia is my emotional home, but New York is my second home,’ she explains. ‘I feel like myself in the city, and that’s all you want from a place. It’s an achievement to have found that. But we Australians are wandering people, aren’t we?’

American audiences hungry for more British comedy and more of Bridesmaids actress Rose Byrne, are in for a treat: I Give It a Year, which stars Byrne and Rafe Spall (One Day), has secured a U.S. distributor. Magnolia Pictures will release the film in the U.S. later this year.
I Give It a Year features Byrne and Spall as a couple that no one believes will last — not their families, not their friends, not even their minister. Where other romantic comedies would begin rolling the credits, I Give It a Year picks up on the realities — and the hilarities — of a marriage start to sink in.
The directorial debut of Dan Mazer (writer of Borat and Brüno), I Give It a Year opened in U.K. theaters in early February and had its North American premiere at South By Southwest last month. A U.S. release date is yet to be set.
With a huge thanks to Summer for designing and coding it, there is a shiny new layout at the Gallery! The previous layout had been up for nearly three years, so a change was definitely in order. I hope everyone likes the new look as much as I do!
Also, nearly 100 event photos from earlier in the year have been added to the gallery. Check out all the latest additions:
